enterprises to global corporations. A summary of recent
work is shown below.
Working
with Shell Petroleum
Development Company (Nigeria) Limited
Awaken EPI staff have project managed the implementation
of the ISO 14001 standard into over 70 sites ranging
from single oil field pumping stations to complex trans-national
air, sea and land logistical operations. This project
also included the management of teams of consultants
tasked alongside associated front line operational staff
with the design and implementation of externally verifiable
health, safety and environmental management systems.
Working
with Shell Philippines
Exploration B.V. Awaken EPI has
supported and facilitated the identification and development
of environmental performance indicators capable of demonstrating
effective and efficient operations across the entire
gas extraction and production process. Following on
from EPI development, Awaken EPI then moved on to verifying
the entire corporate health, safety and environmental
performance data set to a standard capable of verification
to impending global international standards.
Working with Baxter
HealthCare Awaken EPI staff instigated
the development of environmental performance indicators
within their main Spanish operation. Managed over a
period of time, these EPI's have demonstrably improved
factory environmental performance and delivered less
process variability and thus, greater operational control
Working
with Diageo
Awaken EPI staff pioneered the introduction of environmental
performance indicators in to their Dublin brewing operation.
These indicators became the basis for developing benchmarks
for the Groups global brewing operations.
